Angelina Jolie is the broodling of two other celebrities. Her parents John Voight and Marcheline Bertrand both spend their lives acting. Soon after Angelina's birth her parents divorced and mother took on the job of raising the young girl. Angelina and her mother moved around a lot and Angelina made her way around by modeling.
The acting bug stuck as Angelina got her first significant movie part in the sequal to the Van Damme action Cyborg, Cybor 2. Angelina Jolie's acting parts continously got bigger with her appearance in films like Hackers, the eurotrash favorite Trainspotting, and Playing By Heart. 1999 found Jolie in the movie Pushing Tin aside Billy Bob Thorton. Angelina and Billy hit it off and were married in 2000. Their equal lust for blood and fantasies of the dark side made them an entertaining match.
Soon after the marriage Angelina made the blockbuster Gone In Sixty Seconds and Tomb Raider. Angelina got to show her fighting ability in Tomb Raider by playing the lead role of the busty Lara Croft. Tomb Raider was also followed by a popular sequal Tomb Raider: Cradle of Life. In July of 2002 Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thorton divorced. Marriage trouble aside, Angelina countinued to make films such as the FBI suspense Taking Lives and the not-so-classic epic Alexander.
